Homely Atmosphere

The pub has been in the family for many years and its homely atmosphere and old world ambience make it the perfect stopping off placewhether you are a local or a tourist, or just on the road home.

The late Derek Hill R.A. lived in nearby St Columba’s House and his art collection in the adjoining Glebe Gallery. He became a personal friend to the family and a signed print of his on the wall of the pub is atestament to the regard in which he held the Callaghans.
